As most of you know we are days away from Full Figured Fashion Week 2015.  As I have stated many times before, I am super excited about this trailblazing week of events.  This year, there are tons of new additions, including a new Face of Full Figured Fashion Week.  The 2015 Face of Full Figured Fashion Week is the lovely talented Re’vee Lamar.

Re’vee Lamar is a strong passionate woman who is driven and goal oriented.  Re’vee is the mother of two daughters who she credits with being the source of her strength.  While Re’vee was a bit skeptical about becoming a plus size model, it has always been her desire to impact the plus size community.  Her yearning to make an impression on the plus size community led her to obtain a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in Clothing and Textiles. image4

Re’vee Lamar is a woman of many gifts; by day she works as an Exceptional Student Education (ESE) teacher,  during her down time she is a model, entrepreneur and model for the Curve Nation brand. Re’vee is determined to set an example for her daughters and other women and girls, she lives by the belief that “Success is ALWAYS an option”

Since it is PHAT Girl Friday, Re’vee is sharing her PHAT truth with us, you will find it below in her own words. image3

PASSIONATE:  I am passionate about life! I feel as if you only get one shot at it so you better make it count, the sky is the limit.

HAPPY:  To be honest my daughters make me happy! I love that they are proud of their mother for following her dreams.

APPRECIATIVE:  I am appreciative of the support that I receive from both family members and friends. I have a support system that is to be reckon with! No matter if I have to drive to ATL or fly to New York I can always count on the support of my family and friends.

TRUE:  My truth is I am very silly and I enjoy a good joke or two.
